Brooke Williams' Team in Training Pledge Page

Well I did it. I finished my first marathon. Check out my diary entry for a recap.

You Rock!

We met our fundraising goal!

Look for your name on the contributor page if you were able to donate.

My name is Brooke Williams. I set up this site as part of my involvement with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.

First I would like to reiterate that a MARATHON is indeed a full 26.2 miles.

As a member of Team in Training I have committed to train for the San Diego, Rock'n'Roll Marathon June 1, 2003. More importantly, I have committed to raising money ($3,800 to be exact) for cancer research.

Every five minutes, someone in the United States learns that they have leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma - that's nearly 300 people a day. An estimated 106,700 people in the United States will be diagnosed with one of these diseases this year.
Leukemia is the number one killer of children under the age of 14!

I totally understand if you are unable to send financial support, please pass this information to anyone who might be interested or send me your words of support. I will also accept running company, so anyone up for a long run give me a call.

Thanks for your support & GO TEAM!
Love,
Brooke
